Day 1: - Day 01: Kochi Airportto Munnar (03Hrs 40 mins | 107 Km)

Lot. Get ready for a fun-filled ride through the Mountains & Beaches !"
Arrive at Kochi International Airport. Meet & greet driver. Proceed Munnar. (Std Check-in Time is 02.00 PM).
Arrive at Hotel, complete the check-in procedure & spend time to Relax & Unwind.
Munnar – is a picturesque hill station in Kerala, India, known for its sprawling tea plantations, lush green
landscapes, misty mountains, and cool climate. Located in the Western Ghats at about 1,600 meters above sea
level, it's a popular destination for nature lovers, honeymooners, and adventure seekers. Key attractions
include Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Anamudi Peak, and scenic viewpoints. Munnar offers a

Day 2: - Munnar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful sights of Munnar – lush hills, cool breeze, and
unforgettable views await!
● Munnar Sightseeing Includes:
● Tea Museum – Tea Museum is an industry and history museum situated in Munnar is famous known
for its expansive tea gardens. The rolling hills covered with lush green tea plantations are a sight to
behold. The tea estates are also home to the Tata Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history of
tea cultivation in the region and taste fresh tea.
● Rose Garden – It's Famous: Munnar’s Rose Garden is a tranquil spot where visitors can enjoy the beauty of
a wide variety of flowers, including roses, orchids, and other native plants.
● Mattupetty Dam – The Mattupetty Dam is a popular spot for boating and enjoying the scenic beauty of
the surrounding hills and valleys. The dam is located at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level.
● Echo Point – Echo Point is famous for the natural echo phenomenon that occurs here. When you shout or
make any sound, it bounces offthe surrounding hills and echoes back.
● Eravikulam National Park – This national park is home to the Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat native
to the Western Ghats. The park is also famous for its stunning views of the Western Ghats and the
Anamudi Peak, which is the highest point in South India.
● Attukal & Waterfalls – Attukal Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in
Munnar, surrounded by thick forests and hills

Day 3: - Munnar to Thekkady (2Hrs 42 mins 96.8 km)

Enjoy breakfast, then check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival at check-in at the hotel &

● Spice Garden – Stroll around any of the spice gardens to see the wonders of God, from where the Spices
come from, which we use in our day-to-day cooking. Also, getinformation/facts about the same from
the experts, as some are medically helpful.
● Periyar Lake - a beautiful artificial lake amidst the lush Periyar Tiger Reserve. The lake is known for
offering an exciting boat safari (on your own) and witnessing the magnificent wildlife of Kerala.
● Periyar wildlife sanctuary - home to a great number of rare and endangered species of flora and fauna
the park is also home to an immense bird population like Malabar Grey Hornbill, Indian Pied Hornbill.
● Local Market - where you can shop & enjoy homemade chocolates. Ayurvedic cosmetic products &
spices are the other important things to explore in Thekkady - Over twelve varieties of spices including
ginger, garlic, cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, coffee, tea, clove and nutmeg are cultivated in
Thekkady and its neighboring villages.

Day 4: - Thekkady -Alleppey (3Hrs 53mins 138Km)

Alleppey is best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network oftranquil
canals and lagoons. Alappuzha Beach is the site of the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The city's
Mullakkal Temple features a traditional design.

Day 6: - Kovalam -Trivandrum -Kovalam (40m 16.4 km)

Enjoy breakfast, then set off for a day of localsightseeinginKovalam.
● Jatayu Earth’s Center – located in Kollam, Kerala, is a unique tourist destination featuring the world’s
largest bird sculpture, representing Jatayu from the Ramayana. Set atop a hill, the site offers a cable
car ride, 6D theatre, and a mythology museum inside the sculpture. It also includes an adventure park

● Napier Museum - The Museum, established in 1855, is one of the oldest museums in India. It was named
after Lord Napier, the then British Governor of Madras (now Chennai), who is said to have played a
pivotal role in its establishment.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
