Itinerary

Day 1: - Arrival Galle + Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After meet and greet assistance, proceed on a scenic drive to Galle. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 2: - Galle City & Fort Exploration

After breakfast, set out to explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit notable attractions such as the Galle Lighthouse, the Dutch Reformed Church, and the well-preserved ramparts and charming colonial streets. Enjoy free time for café hopping, boutique shopping, and photography within the fort. In the evening, you may opt for a peaceful sunset walk along the fort walls. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 3: - Leisure Day in Galle / Optional Excursions

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the coastal charm of Galle. Optional activities include visiting Unawatuna Beach or Jungle Beach for swimming and relaxation, or arranging a special anniversary celebration at the hotel. Enjoy a calm and memorable day at your own pace. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 4: - Galle- Colombo (Via Coastal Route)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out before departing for Colombo via the scenic coastal route. En route, experience a tranquil Maadu River Boat Safari, followed by a visit to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can learn about turtle conservation efforts. Continue the journey to Colombo and check in to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing at the beach or unwinding at the hotel. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 5: - Colombo City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a guided city tour of Colombo, exploring the vibrant capital city of Sri Lanka. Visit Independence Square, a significant national monument symbolizing the country’s freedom, followed by a stop at the iconic Colombo Lotus Tower, a striking landmark showcasing the city’s modern skyline. Continue through the historic Old Parliament area, reflecting Colombo’s colonial past, and enjoy the scenic surroundings of Beira Lake. The tour also includes a visit to the Colombo National Museum, offering insight into Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage, and a leisurely walk through the lush Viharamaha Devi Park, the city’s largest urban park. This comprehensive tour presents a perfect blend of modern development and colonial charm. The evening is free for leisure or personal exploration, allowing you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 6: - Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed with a comfortable transfer to Airport for your onward journey. Depart Sri Lanka with beautiful memories of your coastal and cultural experience.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Policy-Terms & Cancellation

The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
• If travel insurance is included in your package, all claims are strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurance company.
