Day 1: - Arrive Trivandrum - Kanyakumari (2h 37m || 93.4 km)

Arrive at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, meet & greet driver & proceed to Kanyakumari. It is a coastal town in the state of Tamil Nadu on India's southern tip. Jutting into the Laccadive Sea, the town was known as Cape Comorin during British rule and is popular for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean. It's also a noted pilgrimage site thanks to its Bhagavathi Amman Temple, dedicated to a consort of Shiva, and its Our Lady of Ransom Church, a center of Indian Catholicism. Check In Hotel. Evening proceed for Kannyakumari Local sightseeings - Gandhi Mandapam - Pink memorial building with sea views on site where Gandhi's ashes were held after his death Visit Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial - it is a monument and popular tourist attraction in Kanyakumari, India's southernmost tip. The memorial stands on one of the two rocks located about 500 meters off the mainland of Vavathurai. It was built in 1970 in honor of Swami Vivekananda, who is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock. Rome around Thiruvalluvar Statue - is a 41-metre-tall stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar, author of the Tirukkural, an ancient Tamil work on Dharma and morality. Evening visit Popular destination for sunset views from a scenic point overlooking the ocean & rocky beach. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

Day 2: - Kanyakumari to Rameshwaram (5h 46m || 308 km)

After breakfast check out & proceed to visit - Visit Kanyakumari Temple - Kumari Amman Temple is one of the most sacred temples in the world. Considered as one of the 108 Shakti Peethas, this temple is the home of Goddess Devi Kanya Kumari, referred as the Virgin Goddess. Later drive to Rameshwaram - It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet. On arrival check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

Day 3: - Rameshwaram - Dhanushkodi - Madurai

Morning, the first thing you should do is the holy bath from 'Agni Thirtham' (The beach east of Ramanathaswamy Temple). Which is one of the most visited Teerthams of Rameswaram for a holy bath. Later visit Ramanathaswamy Temple - is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located on Rameswaram island in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples & one Dham of the Char dham. Back to the hotel. After breakfast check out & proceed to Visit Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and Hanuman Bridge. Enroute visit - is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is south-east of Pamban and is about 24 kilometers west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. Take pictures with Pamban Bridge, which is India’s first sea bridge. Upon arrival Madurai, check into the hotel. Madurai is one of India’s oldest cities, known for the majestic Meenakshi Amman Temple, vibrant markets, and rich Tamil culture. It’s a key spiritual and historical center in South India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: - Madurai - Pondicherry (5h 13m || 326 km)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to visit Meenakshi Amman Temple - Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundaraswarar Temple is a historic Hindu temple. It is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi, a form of Parvati, and her consort, Sundareswarar, a form of Shiva. The temple is open for Pilgrims from 0900 AM - 0700 PM. Later drive Puducherry. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening is free to relax or take a walk on the streets of Pondicherry. Evening enjoy boating (at own cost) at Chunnambar backwater & the beautiful beaches of Pondicherry. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: - Pondicherry Local Sightseeings

After breakfast Today visit Auroville- the international township. Visit The Matrimandir- Temple of the Divine Mother is the spiritual center of Auroville. It stands as a living example of human unity in diversity. Visit to the French War Memorial, dedicated to residents of French India who died for the country during the First World War. It is on Goubert Avenue in Puducherry, located opposite to the Gandhi statue. Visit Immaculate Conception Cathedral in the evening. Visit Rock Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: - Pondicherry - Chennai (3 hr 30 min || 151 km)

After breakfast, check out & proceed to Chennail Aiport. Enroute visit En route visit the beautiful Mahabalipuram, which is famous for its temple & beach. Visit the Caves, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and the shore Temple. Later, drive to the airport for your onward journey. Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
