Upon arrival, complete the hotel check-in formalities (standard check-in time: 02:00 PM) If the arrival is early and time permits, proceed for a gentle visit to the nearby tea gardens. Continue to Blossom Garden, a pleasant garden area surrounded by greenery and offering a relaxing atmosphere. If time, weather conditions and energy permit, proceed to Eravikulam National Park. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, a picturesque town located on the edge of the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for its lush forests, spice plantations, and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, visit a ● Spice Plantation, where you can learn about the cultivation of aromatic spices such as cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, coffee, and tea, along with their culinary and medicinal uses. Later, visit the scenic ● Periyar Lake, a beautiful artificial lake nestled within the Periyar Tiger Reserve. You may opt for a boat safari to spot elephants, bison, deer, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Thekkady and proceed to Alleppey, famous for its serene backwaters, lush paddy fields and traditional villages. On arrival in Alleppey, board your private premium houseboat in the afternoon. Settle in and begin your backwater cruise through the tranquil waterways. After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed towards Kovalam, enjoying a leisurely drive through the scenic landscapes of Kerala. Explore the famous Varkala Cliff and, if time permits, visit the Janardhana Swamy Temple, an ancient Hindu temple with significant religious importance.
