Day 1: - Kochi Airport to Munnar (03Hrs 40 mins | 107 Km

Welcome to Kerala – God’s Own Country! Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, your designated driver will be waiting to greet your family at the airport parking lot. Get ready for a fun-filled journey through the mountains and beaches of Kerala! Proceed to Munnar, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Western Ghats at an altitude of around 1,600 meters above sea level. Famous for its sprawling tea plantations, misty hills, and cool climate, Munnar is a haven for nature lovers, honeymooners, and adventure enthusiasts. Key attractions in the region include Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Anamudi Peak, and several scenic viewpoints that offer breathtaking vistas. Upon arrival in Munnar, complete the hotel check-in procedures (Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM). Spend your breezy evening at leisure—either relaxing at the property and soaking in the surrounding beauty or heading out to explore the local Munnar market, known for its tea, spices, homemade chocolates, essential oils, handicrafts, and souvenirs—each reflecting the rich natural and cultural heritage of the region. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 2: - Munnar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out to explore the scenic beauty of Munnar. Begin with a visit to the Tata Tea Museum, where you can learn about the region’s rich tea heritage and enjoy a fresh cup of locally brewed tea. Continue to the colorful Rose Garden, home to a variety of roses and other vibrant blooms. Next, visit the Mattupetty Dam, a serene spot ideal for boating and soaking in the stunning views. Head to Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon, and conclude with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, famous for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and majestic views of Anamudi Peak, the highest in South India. Return to the hotel for Dinner and an Overnight Stay.

Day 3: - Munnar to Thekkady (2h 46m 96.7 km)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, explore the local attractions starting with a stroll through the spice gardens, where you’ll discover the origins of everyday spices and learn about their medicinal benefits from experts. Visit the serene Periyar Lake, nestled within the lush Periyar Tiger Reserve, and enjoy an optional boat safari to spot wildlife. Explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many rare and endangered species, including a rich variety of birds like the Malabar Grey Hornbill. End the day with a visit to the local market, where you can shop for homemade chocolates, Ayurvedic products, and over a dozen varieties of spices cultivated in the region, including cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and more. Return to the hotel for leisure time, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 4: - Thekkady to Alleppey 3h 53m (138 km)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, famous for its houseboat cruises along the tranquil Kerala backwaters. Visit the historic St. Mary’s Basilica Church, an ancient Christian landmark. In the evening, enjoy a serene motorboat ride through scenic backwaters, cruising along palm-fringed canals, lush paddy fields, and charming villages aboard a traditional Kettuvallam-style boat with modern amenities. Later, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 5: - Departure - Alleppey to Cochin (1h 30m/54.4 km)

Policy-Terms & Cancellation

• The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
