Itinerary

Day 1: - Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong

On arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet & greet driver. Proceed to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2: - Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki

After an early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Umngot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

Day 3: - Excursion to Cherrapunjee

After early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4: - Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati

After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at the hotel. In the evening we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 5: - Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast, proceed to visit [If time permits] Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark) Later, get Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit will depend on your departure time. It may have been done the previous day.

• Personal expenses like phone calls, laundry, room heater charges, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, mineral water, mineral water, room service, tea/ coffee etc unless specified
• Travel Insurance is not Included in our package cost
• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, should be directly payable on the spot).
• Other Expenses – hike in fuel charges, room upgradation cost, medical expenses or hospitalization, additional charges incurred due to any Natural Calamities or Political issues, etc. 
• Any other expenses/services not mentioned in the inclusions.

  • Currency & Payments- Carry local currency or an international forex/prepaid travel card for ease of transactions. Credit/Debit cards are widely accepted in most destinations, but it is advisable to keep some cash for small purchases.
  • Health & Safety – Carry essential medicines and a small first-aid kit. Keep a copy of your prescriptions if you are on regular medication. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for your safety and peace of mind.

Policy-Terms & Cancellation

• The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
