Day 1: - Arrival in Tbilisi

Upon your arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred comfortably to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and unwind. In the evening, proceed for a Tbilisi City Tour covering the city’s cultural and historical highlights. Explore the charming Old Town, iconic landmarks, panoramic viewpoints, and vibrant streets that showcase the essence of Georgia’s capital.

Later, walking through Tbilisi’s Meidan Bazaar feels like stepping into ancient trade routes, with atmospheric underground tunnels showcasing artisan crafts, churchkhela, Georgian wines, antiques, and souvenirs in a beautifully rustic, medieval setting. Walk down to Rike Park and cross the Bridge of Peace, and enjoy dinner at a traditional Georgian restaurant.

Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 2: - Tbilisi City Tour

You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, and the tour will start at 10:20 PM. Explore the city of Tbilisi, walking down to Rike Park and crossing the Peace Bridge, then take the cable car to Narikala Fortress for breathtaking panoramic views and see the statue of Mother Georgia above Old Tbilisi. Continue to the Sulphur Bath district, followed by a visit to Sioni Cathedral, a historic Georgian Orthodox landmark named after Mount Zion, housing the Cross of St. Nino with a modest exterior and richly frescoed interior, serving as a spiritual center for centuries. Stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi’s grand central boulevard lined with historic buildings, museums, theatres, cafés, shops, and vibrant public art, connecting Liberty Square to Rustaveli Metro Station. You may enjoy an optional dinner at a traditional Georgian restaurant featuring local cuisine, wine, and folk music [On Own], followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 3: - Mtskheta & Chronicles of Georgia

After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Tbilisi for a scenic full-day excursion covering Mtskheta, Borjomi, and Bakuriani — a journey through Georgia’s spiritual, natural, and mountainous landscapes. Begin with a visit to Mtskheta, the ancient capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore Jvari Monastery, perched high on a hill overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, offering one of the most picturesque views in Georgia. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Chronicles of Georgia, near Tbilisi, a monumental site with 16 towering pillars depicting 3,000 years of Georgian history and 2,000 years of Christianity, designed by Zurab Tsereteli and often called Georgia’s Stonehenge, before returning to Tbilisi in the evening for dinner or to explore more of the city’s vibrant scene.

Day 4: - Journey to Gudauri (Mountain Views)

Explore the Caucasus Mountains on this full-day tour to Gudauri Ski Resort. Depart from your Tbilisi hotel in a private vehicle with a driver-guide and travel along the scenic Georgian Military Highway. On the way, pause at Jinvali Water Reservoir and Ananuri Castle. After your journey, continue to Gudauri, a popular ski resort, and check into your hotel. In the evening, unwind and take in the fresh mountain air, and you may also sample some local alpine honey.

Day 5: - Gudauri : day free for snow activities

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Gudauri, a stunning mountain resort in the Caucasus. Take advantage of the snow-covered slopes for skiing, snowboarding, or other winter sports, or simply relax and soak in the breathtaking alpine scenery. Optional activities and local experiences can also be arranged to make the most of your day in the mountains.

Day 6: - Return to Tbilisi via Gori/Uplistsikhe

After breakfast, return to Tbilisi via Gori and Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe is an ancient rock-hewn town in Georgia, carved into sandstone cliffs above the Mtkvari River, known for its tunnels, temples, streets, and structures like Queen Tamar’s Hall, showcasing a unique blend of pagan and Christian architecture from the Bronze Age to the 13th century. Gori is a city in eastern Georgia, the regional capital of Shida Kartli, famous as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, noted for its historic fortress, strategic location, and mix of Soviet and modern architecture. In the afternoon, return to Tbilisi and check into your hotel. Later in the evening, enjoy free time to shop for souvenirs or dine at a new restaurant in Tbilisi, followed by an overnight stay in the city.

Day 7: - Kakheti Wine Region Day Trip

Excursion to Kakheti includes a visit to the ancient spiritual capital of Georgia with stunning monasteries, UNESCO heritage sites, and traditional local markets. Explore the Great Wall of Sighnaghi, a beautiful fortress wall offering panoramic views, and Bodbe Monastery, a spiritual landmark surrounded by greenery. Experience Georgia’s famous wine region with charming hilltop towns, monasteries, and optional wine tasting. Stroll through the City of Love with its romantic viewpoints and cobblestone streets, and visit the KTW Wine Factory for an optional wine tasting experience. In the evening, return to Tbilisi for your farewell dinner.

Day 8: - Departure

Enjoy a final Georgian breakfast at your hotel before your transfer to Tbilisi International Airport for your departure.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
