Itinerary

Day 1: - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (approx. 1,400 m above sea level) and transfer to your hotel (30–45 minutes depending on traffic). After some rest, proceed in the evening to Pashupatinath Temple for the sacred Bagmati Aarti, which usually begins around sunset. The drive from central Kathmandu takes about 30 minutes. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2: - Kathmandu to Pokhara – Local Sightseeing (820 m)

Early morning transfer to the airport (30 minutes) for a 25-minute scenic flight to Pokhara (820 m). After hotel check-in, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit Pumdikot Shiva Statue (approx. 1,500 m; 40-minute uphill drive) for panoramic Himalayan views, followed by World Peace Stupa (1,100 m; 30 minutes from Lakeside). Enjoy views of Phewa Lake and Annapurna range. Evening at leisure around Lakeside. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 3: - Pokhara to Jomsom – Muktinath – Jomsom (2,720 m – 3,800 m)

Depart early morning for Jomsom via mountain road or jeep (8–9 hours drive, reaching 2,720 m). Continue onward to Muktinath Temple (3,800 m), a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists, requiring about 1.5 hours from Jomsom by jeep. After darshan and exploration, return to Jomsom (1.5 hours). Overnight stay in Jomsom. Slow movement is advised due to altitude.

Day 4: - Jomsom to Pokhara – Local Sightseeing (820 m)

After breakfast, drive back from Jomsom to Pokhara (7–8 hours). Descend gradually through Kali Gandaki Valley, reducing altitude-related fatigue. Upon arrival in Pokhara, enjoy remaining local attractions such as Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave,Mahadev cave, Bindhyabasini temple and Phewa lake or a relaxing evening by Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 5: - Pokhara to Kathmandu – Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,400 m)

Morning transfer to Pokhara airport for a 25-minute flight to Kathmandu. After hotel check-in, proceed for full-day city sightseeing covering Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa (1,350 m), Patan Durbar Square (1,350 m; approx. 30–40 minutes between sites), and Swayambhunath Stupa (1,400 m). Expect a total sightseeing time of 6–7 hours including transfers. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 6: - Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport (30–45 minutes) for your onward journey, concluding your Nepal pilgrimage and sightseeing tour.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Policy-Terms & Cancellation

• The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
• If travel insurance is included in your package, all claims are strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurance company.
• Between 30-11 days of departure = Airline Cancellation charges as applicable + 50% of Holiday Cost
• Prior 0 to 10 days of the departure = Airline Cancellation charges as applicable + 100% of Holiday Cost
• Visa Fee & Service charges are non-refundable.
