Itinerary

Day 1: - Gorakhpur – Lumbini (Approx. 110 km | 3-4 hrs | Elevation: 150m)

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Gorakhpur. After crossing the India-Nepal border, you will drive to Lumbini – the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening amidst the serene spiritual ambiance.

Day 2: - Lumbini Sightseeing – Drive to Pokhara (Approx. 200 km | 6-7 hrs | Elevation: 822m)

In the morning, explore Lumbini’s sacred sites including the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and various international monasteries. After sightseeing, embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, Nepal’s picturesque lake city nestled beneath the Annapurna range. Arrive by evening and settle into your hotel.

Day 3: - Pokhara Local Sightseeing

Enjoy a full day exploring Pokhara’s key attractions. Start with a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake, followed by a visit to Barahi Temple, located on an island. Continue to Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Davis Falls, and the dramatic Seti Gorge. Optional: catch a sunset from the Peace Pagoda or enjoy lakeside leisure.

Day 4: - Pokhara – Kathmandu via Manakamana Temple (Approx. 205 km | 7-8 hrs | Elevation: 1,400m)

Depart early for Kathmandu. En route, stop at Kurintar to visit the sacred Manakamana Temple, accessible via a scenic cable car ride (ticket at own cost). After darshan, continue the drive to the capital city of Kathmandu, arriving by evening.

Day 5: - Kathmandu Sightseeing – Spiritual Temples Tour

Begin your day with a visit to the holiest Hindu temple, Pashupatinath, followed by a spiritual stop at the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Continue to the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, a Tibetan Buddhist site, and end your day at the serene Jal Narayan (Budhanilkantha) Temple, housing a massive stone statue of sleeping Vishnu

Day 6: - Kathmandu – Chandragiri Hills and Durbar Square

Today, take a cable car ride (at your own expense) up to Chandragiri Hills, offering panoramic Himalayan views and a peaceful Shiva temple. In the afternoon, explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, filled with ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples, reflecting Newari architecture and history.

Day 7: - Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot (Approx. 35 km | 2-3 hrs | Elevation: 2,175m)

Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its medieval art, wood carvings, and cultural heritage. After exploring this ancient city, continue to Nagarkot, a hill station famous for its sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas including Everest on clear days. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.

Day 8: - Nagarkot – Chitwan (Approx. 230 km | 6-7 hrs | Elevation: 415m)

After an early breakfast and optional sunrise view, depart for Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s premier wildlife destination. Arrive by afternoon and in the evening, enjoy a Tharu cultural dance performance, showcasing the local indigenous traditions.

Day 9: - Chitwan Jungle Safari and Activities

A full day of jungle adventure awaits. Experience a jeep safari into the national park to spot rhinos, deer, and possibly Bengal tigers. Enjoy a peaceful canoe ride, visit an elephant breeding center, take a guided nature walk, and explore the Tharu village to learn about the local lifestyle and customs

Day 10: - Chitwan – Gorakhpur (Approx. 190 km | 5-6 hrs)

Conclude your journey with a drive back to Gorakhpur, retracing your path through the plains. Upon arrival, drop-off at your preferred location. Tour ends with cherished memories of Nepal's natural beauty, spiritual heritage, and cultural richness

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Policy-Terms & Cancellation

• The final package amount will be confirmed only at the time of hotel blocking and/or when passports are submitted for processing.
• Hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1200 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to hotel availability and may involve additional charges. For guaranteed early check-in, additional amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Tour dates are subject to change depending on the availability of airline seats, hotels, and sightseeing slots. Last-minute tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Airline schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Khanna Travels will not be responsible for any rescheduling or cancellations made by the airline.
• For SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, guests must adhere to the reporting time to ensure smooth flow of the itinerary.
• Any changes in the itinerary (before or during the tour) must be informed at least 24 hours in advance and will remain subject to availability.
• GST details must be provided at the time of booking/issuance. Requests shared later cannot be entertained.
• Appropriate and complete visa documents should be shared in time to avoid rejection or delay. Visa approval/rejection is at the sole discretion of the consulate. Khanna Travels will not be held responsible for rejection or delays.
• If travel insurance is included in your package, all claims are strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurance company.
• Between 30-11 days of departure = Airline Cancellation charges as applicable + 50% of Holiday Cost
• Prior 0 to 10 days of the departure = Airline Cancellation charges as applicable + 100% of Holiday Cost
