Itinerary

Day 1: - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs)

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: - Gangtok Full Day Local Sightseeing

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Do-dulr Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3: - Excursion to Nathula Pass - Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (53 Kms. / 3 Hrs. one-way)

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4: - Gangtok to Darjeeling Via Namachi (At Additional Cost )Transfer

Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4.23 hours After breakfast start for Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). Enroute visit Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5: - Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6: - Mirik Excursion and Excursion Kalimpong (2 hr 57 min || 67.6 km)

After breakfast, proceed to Mirik Excursion. On arrival at Mirik, visit Mirik Lake (4,902 ft.) via Indo-Nepal Border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market). Mirik is famous for its manmade Sumendu Lake (One can do Boating on direct payment basis in lake). Enroute stop by Pine Forest, Simana view Point & Gopaldhara tea Garden. Back to Darjeeling. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling. After breakfast, proceed to Kalimpong, Situated at an altitude of 1300 m on the eastern side of the Darjeeling Himalayas. The ‘land of the kings’, Kalimpong is a precious gem in northeastern India with views of the spectacular Kanchenjunga range, roaring Teesta River and emerald green Rangeet Valley. On arrival visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills and Pine View Nursery (Sunday closed). Evening back to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 7: - Darjeeling - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport t (75 Kms. / 3 Hrs.)

After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take, the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
